What it is
The widget puts live tracking on your order-status page: your customer pastes or clicks nothing extra, and the timeline renders inside your site.
Setup
1. Open [/my/widget](/my/widget) (Pro feature — see [plans](/docs/rate-limits-and-plans)). 2. Generate your embed token — it is signed and identifies your account without exposing your API key in the browser. 3. Drop the snippet into your page; pass the tracking number per shipment.
The widget inherits your page's width and supports light/dark.
Boundaries (honest)
- The widget is read-only: it shows tracking surfaces and events; saving/alerts stay in TrackJet accounts.
- Live event streams exist only where TrackJet holds a licensed carrier feed — elsewhere the widget links to the carrier's official page, clearly labelled.
- Tokens are revocable: rotating the token kills old embeds immediately.
