Short version: TrackJet routes you to carriers and labels every piece of data with its source — but the shipment data itself belongs to the carriers, and estimates are estimates. Here is what that means in practice.
Tracking data #
Carriers are the authoritative source for shipment status. TrackJet identifies carriers from the structure of a tracking number, links to official tracking surfaces, and — where a licensed feed or user-provided data exists — displays events as received, labelled with their source. We never fabricate events. Numbers, statuses and timestamps can lag, change or be corrected by the carrier at any time; for anything binding, rely on the carrier's own systems and documents.
Estimates #
Anything TrackJet computes itself — estimated delivery windows, great-circle distances, CO₂ estimates, risk signals — is clearly labelled as an estimate, and is only shown when our own data passes maturity thresholds. Estimates are decision support, not promises, and must not be used as the basis for contractual commitments.
Not professional advice #
Guides about customs, air-passenger rights, cold-chain logistics and similar topics are general information reflecting our reading of the published rules at the time of writing. They are not legal, tax or customs advice. Regulations change and individual cases differ — consult a qualified professional or the competent authority for your specific situation.
Trademarks and third parties #
Carrier names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. TrackJet is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any carrier. External links are provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for their content.
Advertising #
To keep the free tracker free, the site may display clearly separated advertising (Google AdSense). Ads never influence carrier data, rankings or editorial content — see the editorial & data policy. How ad cookies work, and how to opt out, is covered in the privacy policy.
Liability #
The legally binding liability provisions are in the terms of service; provider identification is in the imprint. If anything on this page seems to contradict those documents, the terms prevail.
