What it does
Forward any carrier email — shipping confirmations, status updates — to your private mail-in address, and TrackJet extracts the tracking numbers and saves them to your board automatically.
Your address is on [your dashboard](/dashboard) ("Track by email" card): it looks like in+a1b2c3…@trackjet.world where the token is 40 characters that belong to you alone.
Step by step
1. Copy your address from the dashboard (one click). 2. In your mail client, forward a carrier email to it. Plain forwards are fine — no special subject needed. 3. Within seconds the validated numbers appear on your board, named after the email's subject.
What gets imported — and what does not
Only numbers that pass a structural validator are imported: air waybills (mod-7), containers (ISO 6346), postal S10, and known parcel formats. Order numbers, invoice references and other look-alikes are ignored on purpose — and bills of lading are excluded because they have no universal checksum, so in free text they are indistinguishable from order IDs.
Duplicates are no-ops (the same email forwarded twice imports once — idempotent by Message-ID), and your plan's saved-shipments cap is respected.
Security of the token
- Anyone who knows your address can add shipments to your board (and nothing else). Treat it like a private email address.
- The address never exposes your identity; the email body is not stored — only routing metadata, and the sender/subject are encrypted at rest.
- You can rotate the token; the old address stops working immediately.
