What it is
When a saved shipment changes status, TrackJet can send a status-update email. With branding set, that email carries your name and colour and links to the live [Smart Link](/docs/smart-links) — so the customer gets a professional "your order moved" message that feels like it came from you.
What's in it
- Your brand header (name + accent colour; your logo if you set one).
- The new status, in plain language, localised to the recipient (EN / DE / ES).
- A "view tracking" button that opens the shipment's Smart Link.
- One-click unsubscribe.
Deliverability built in
- DKIM-signed (
d=trackjet.world), so mailbox providers can authenticate it. List-Unsubscribe+ one-click unsubscribe (RFC 8058), which Gmail and others now expect from bulk senders.
These are not optional extras — they are why the email lands in the inbox instead of spam.
Consistency
The email's brand comes from the same source as your Smart Link and [status page](/docs/status-embed) (your widget config), and the link is built by the same Smart Link formatter. So the email, the page it opens and your embedded status widget all show one brand and one link — they cannot drift apart.
> Brand colour is stored as 6-digit hex without the #; the email applies it as #rrggbb for you.
