IMO number (vessel identifier)
The permanent 7-digit identifier of a ship, assigned for its lifetime. Check rule: the first six digits weighted 7,6,5,4,3,2; the rightmost digit of the sum is the 7th digit. An IMO number identifies a VESSEL — not a shipment; TrackJet uses it for vessel references in container/BoL contexts.
